The project ID Web Controls was founded in the beginning of 2009. But the Web Controls has been widely used in numerous applications and projects since 2005.
Because we were using the same controls across projects we quickly found the need for some sharing web-controls, that will run regardless of a page is C#, ASP, PHP or even a third language.
Since all we could find searching the net lacked a professional touch and were also poorly documented and not very up-beat we decided to put our web controls to the market: ID Web Controls was a reality.
Our first product for the public was a listview, capable of almost the same functions as a windows listview.
